According to OhBulan!’s head of editorial content, Noor Zulaikha Yusof, the campaign is not limited to highlighting viral figures, but also about acknowledging the role fans play in shaping Malaysia’s online culture.

“’OhBulan! Paling Viral Online’ is being held for the very first time this year. We are not just honouring viral celebrities, influencers, and content, but also introducing a special category dedicated exclusively to fans. We strongly believe that with all the support, this programme will generate a remarkable impact,” she said.

To expand the campaign’s reach, OhBulan! will roll out a comprehensive digital strategy, including exclusive articles, short-form videos on TikTok and YouTube, as well as collaborations with TV3, Hot FM and Kool 101.

Segments promoting the campaign will also appear on local talk shows “Malaysia Hari Ini” and “Wanita Hari Ini”.

An official hashtag, #ohbulanpalingviralonline, has been introduced to encourage conversations and engagement across social media platforms.
