Although it’s located only approximately 22km from Kuala Lumpur city centre, you’ll feel like you’re in a different country altogether.
During a recent visit, operation manager Megat Ibrahim Omar took the FMT Lifestyle team on a tour around the farm, which is approximately four hectares.
One of the main attractions here is the lovely “ladies” – docile, curvy and even-tempered. But guys, don’t get any ideas: the “ladies” are what the female cows here are called!

The “ladies” live in a spacious barn with jazz music playing in the background. This helps the cows relax, Megat, 47, said. For even more pampering, the “ladies’ use the massage brushes and sprinklers regularly.
Additionally, they are also fed quality grass and one can’t help but marvel: it’s a good, good life for these cows. “After all, when we look after them, they’ll produce better quality milk,” he said.

The cows, he added, are milked every morning and evening using a milking machine and cluster cups. The barn is also home to male cows and some of them may even oblige you by “posing” for a photo!
Feeding the animals is another fun activity at the farm. The feed, Megat explained, can be purchased at the entrance and during FMT Lifestyle’s visit, children were seen excitedly feeding ducks, chickens and deer.

Among them are a handsome male stag named “Manja”, certainly a befitting name as he was spotted throwing a brief tantrum, conveying his displeasure at not being visited by Megat in a while!
And if you’re a bird lover, there’s an aviary where you’ll find red-billed blue magpies and fantail pigeons, among others. For children growing up in urban areas, this is the perfect place to see these animals up close instead of only through books or videos.

There is also a plant nursery as well as a scenic, well-kept garden that may just remind you of a scene from Bridgerton – perfect for picture-taking.
Another Instagrammable spot is the “pumpkin tunnel” and yes, it is a tunnel with fresh pumpkins growing overhead. Visitors, however, are not allowed to pluck these!

Other activities at the farm include barrel rides for children. Alternatively, if you’d like to explore the surrounding areas outside, hop on a tractor ride for a scenic tour – this is open to both adults and children.
Feeling famished? There’s a café that serves a variety of scrumptious Asian and western dishes. For dessert, stop by Jom Chá for beverages made using Farm Fresh milk or Cream Houz for some delectable ice- cream.

Before leaving, don’t miss buying some fresh produce grown on the farm such as bananas, papayas, brinjals and water spinach. And of course, you shouldn’t leave without some creamy and delicious Farm Fresh milk!
Overall, whether you’re young or old(er) and looking to escape from the daily stress of the city, this is the place for you.
