Well, here’s a spin on golden milk, using delicious mango and natural yoghurt to give it a fruity tang. Turmeric gives a savoury flavour to this smoothie, while mango and honey make it sweet.
Delicious and oh-so-good for you, this mango-turmeric smoothie recipe will hopefully convince you to add a bit more of this incredible spice into your diet.
Ingredients
- 140g ripe mango
- 80g natural yoghurt
- 240ml (1 cup) milk
- 5g ginger
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tbsp honey or to taste
- pinch of chilli flakes or sea salt, optional
Method
- Add all the ingredients into a blender and blitz until smooth.
- And that’s it! Pour into a tall glass and enjoy ice-cold.
- A pinch of chilli flakes on the top of your smoothie will give it a little zing. Also, try adding bit of sea salt to elevate the flavour.
- For best icy-cold results, use frozen mango.
