PARIS:
Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has announced that it will unveil its very first AI-powered PC live on the internet on Monday, May 20.

This first “AI PC” from Asus promises to combine unprecedented computing power with an ultraportable format. It will be a top-of-the-range model with innovative AI-powered functions, but Asus has yet to reveal more.

What is certain, however, is that this PC has been developed in close collaboration with Qualcomm and Microsoft. Asus promises a new generation of notebooks designed to reinvent computing, with AI opening up new horizons, tailored to individual needs.

This new laptop will be presented to the public at Computex 2024 in Taipei, from June 4 to 7, before going on sale at a later date. The concept of the “AI PC,” with capabilities boosted by AI, is set to hit the market between now and the end of the year.

Indeed, beyond the purely marketing aspect, all PC manufacturers are expected to integrate AI into their devices.

Even if you don’t change your PC, you’ll still be able to enjoy the power of AI. Indeed, whatever your PC, as long as its operating system is up to date, you’ll soon be able to enjoy a taste of artificial intelligence on your computer, thanks to an upcoming major update to Windows 11, expected by the end of the year.

This should be centred around AI, to help personalize the interface, easily find documents or boost productivity with the Copilot tool.
