Fast forward to today and the freehold luxury condominium proudly overlooks the grand view of the Bukit Gasing Forest Reserve, offering residents a landed living experience in the sky.
Back then, the desire for more space, comfortable surroundings, and a wholesome environment was already something urban homebuyers were looking for. The Estate checked these boxes and more, offering residents modern, holistic living within a thriving urban hotspot.
Comprising 328 units in a low-density environment, The Estate offers spacious units ranging from 2,346 to 7,057 sq ft, priced between RM1.6 million and RM5.7 million.
In a short few years, The Estate has already appreciated by around 50% in value, with the latest transacted price at RM1,050 per sq ft, according to BON Estates.
One of its main allures is that 70% of the entire development’s land mass is dedicated to greenery – from lush green nooks to gardens and lawns – providing a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
BON Estates chief executive officer Chan Jin-Wy shared how important it was to shape a quality of life that matched the quality of the environment BON Estates aspires to foster.
“Our green spaces are curated to encourage outdoor activity, which in turn serves to nurture family and community bonds. We infused many quiet, intimate and appealing spaces throughout the development to help facilitate quality time with loved ones,” Chan said.
A new chapter of luxury
Now, BON Estates is flipping the page to the next chapter with its highly anticipated Bon Kiara, a luxury high-rise nestled in the heart of Mont Kiara.

“In many ways, Bon Kiara expands the underlying lifestyle philosophy that brought us success with our maiden project, The Estate Bangsar South, which is the creation of engaging spaces that connect with dwellers on an emotive level and enrich their daily lifestyle experiences,” Chan said.
“However, Bon Kiara has many exceptional qualities of its own that make it uniquely appealing to lifestyle seekers.”
Bon Kiara – spanning 4.15 acres (1.7 ha) of prime freehold land – is a canvas for effortless living, where every detail is thoughtfully designed to allow homeowners to relish life’s simple pleasures.
Acknowledging the importance of community living, Bon Estates will be building a new direct access from Jalan Kiara 3 to Jalan Duta Kiara, providing seamless connectivity to the bustling Mont Kiara commercial hub.

Crafted by the renowned JS Lim Architect in collaboration with PAD (Thailand) and SSO Studio, the Mediterranean-inspired homes are a testament to architectural brilliance.
Bon Kiara offers a total of 410 units across two towers and 43 storeys, featuring spacious, open-plan layouts ranging from 2,081 sq ft to 3,075 sq ft.
According to Chan, while Mont Kiara is no stranger to projects with large unit sizes, most of them are older developments. This makes Bon Kiara attractive for potential homebuyers looking for a new spacious development within the neighbourhood.
Each Bon Kiara unit features between three and five ensuite bedrooms, a spacious wet and dry kitchen, wet kitchen cabinet fittings, as well as a panoramic lanai area that doubles as an extended living area, which can be repurposed into a space that fits your unique lifestyle.

“We replaced the typical balcony design with a semi-open lanai. Imagine that you still have your sliding door, but you go out to a lanai with a full glass window, which you keep shut or open for fresh air when you like,” explained Chan.
Every unit (except for penthouse units) has a sizable lanai around 6 ft by 27 ft (1.8m by 8.2m) that can be turned into a functional space like a home office, yoga area or indoor garden.
In addition, Bon Kiara opted for a larger wet kitchen design, along with good-quality wet kitchen cabinets and appliances, putting the focus on where the action actually happens.
The units also come with an air-conditioner in every room and a heater in each bathroom, except for the maid’s room. Depending on the unit size, every unit will have two to six car park bays, one of which will be equipped with an electric vehicle isolator.
Overall, Bon Kiara embodies the concept that usable and practical space is the new luxury, which extends to its facilities that are spread across the residence.

Resort-style facilities for all
A 1.5-acre (0.6 ha) open green space will be allocated for a large central park, which will include an elevated jogging and walking track and a double-storey Social House.
The Social House on the ground floor features facilities like a swimming pool, sauna, residence lounge, tree walk, centre park, entertainment suite, kids club, multipurpose hall and fitness club.
On Level 24 for both towers, you will find purposefully designed passive facilities, such as a co-working space, a family lounge, and a studio that can be used for wellness activities like yoga, dance and tai chi.
Additionally, one of the highlights of Bon Kiara is that it is a pet-friendly residence.
“We understand that pets are a part of the family for many today, so a green open space for them is necessary. We make sure everyone is well taken care of in this family-oriented development,” said Chan.
Lastly, with sustainability being a part of the BON Estates ethos, Bon Kiara is designed as a GreenRe Gold Certified building.
Homebuyers can look forward to homes with water efficiency, natural light and ventilation, as well as a meticulous selection of thoughtfully crafted materials, including solid timber finishing.
