Yeoh will join a group of 30 actors to be honoured this year, including the late Chadwick Boseman, who will be receiving his star posthumously.
Yeoh’s induction highlights her remarkable contribution to the world of movies.
“The committee, comprising distinguished Walk of Famers, meticulously handpicks people each year who represent various genres within the entertainment industry,” said Ellen K, the chair of the selection panel in a press release.
In March, Yeoh made history as the first Asian to win an Academy Award for Best Actress, for her role in the film “Everything Everywhere All At Once”.
She also earned a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actress and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.
Currently, there are over 2,700 stars lining Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street in Los Angeles.
Yeoh will join Gwen Stefani, Dr Dre, Gal Gadot, Def Leppard and Toni Braxton in the Walk of Fame Class of 2024.
