PARIS:
Ukrainian YouTuber (and engineer) Sergii Gordieiev, known for his channel The Q, has developed an extraordinary new machine. Starting with a Formula 1 wheel, he has created an electric monowheel.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, he explains how he arrived at such a result.

To create this device, he combined several technologies, using the self-balancing system of a hoverboard.

He integrated it into a system that can be attached to the wheel, before making the platforms for the feet to rest on. The result is a kind of oversized Onewheel.

Of course, there is no question of this one-off creation competing with classic monowheels, because despite the solid girth of its racing tire, this mono-wheeler is not really a racing machine.

Nor is it the most comfortable vehicle to use, but the technical prowess behind it deserves a look.

This unique prototype is not intended for production or sale.
