

FMT in partnership with The Global Institute For Tomorrow (GIFT) brings you Covid-19 “healers” from Comoros.
Nathalie Mzé (in red) is a teacher at the Fundi Abdoulhamid School Group in Moroni, leading a class of 32 students.
After a one-and-a-half-month hiatus, the school asked teachers to prepare homework assignments for students to help ensure educational continuity.
Nathalie, who teaches a CP class, invited parents one-by-one every Saturday to receive the week’s homework and deliver the next week’s homework.
Mariama Hamidou and Aboudou Mahamoud are members of the Raouni Cooperative.
Farmers and business owners from the village of Mboinkou decided to form a cooperative to increase production and offer affordable products for the population.
Zalhedji Idjabou (wearing a braided leaf hat) is a member of the Raouni Cooperative. She is one of the most active women in the Cooperative, and her actions give hope to those around her, illuminating their days with her smile.




Ali Ahmed Mahmoud enjoys street photography and photos of concerts or shows. He also enjoys engaging in current affairs to offer more personal compositions, such as the series
“For the Love” that he produced to illustrate human drama in Comoros during its independence. He recently produced a series for the premiere of Dur Y Croire, a show presented at the Alliance Francaise de Moroni. One of his photos “The Giant of Bandani” was selected in the Lens Culture Black & White Photography Awards 2018 as well as” Sounds of Wedding” which appears in the collection of National China Silk Museum in Hanghzou.
