Cookies and Cream is a four-month old Supersnow Leopard Gecko who belongs to Helen Leijon. She looks like she’s wearing a permanent smile.

She is a combination of intelligent, cheeky and timid, Helen says.

Called Cookies for short, Helen says her beautiful gecko likes to eat and sleep, and lay on the warm side of her enclosure.

“She likes to eat mealworms but red runners are probably her favourite, as well as superworms.

“She doesn’t like being outside of her enclosure in general and will try to hide under my legs or somewhere dark when she is let out.”

Accustomed already to her new momma, Cookies will lift her head to look at Helen when she opens her enclosure.

“Most of the day she’ll lay inside her enclosure, happy to hide away from the rest of the world. When she’s out during enclosure maintenance, she likes to lay under my legs or climb onto my shoulder,” Helen says.
