Yen Lim Phui Yin, Director of Wenawave wants to express her gratitude to the medical personnel, policemen and armed forces who have been putting their lives in danger to keep the outbreak at bay.
“We are so fortunate to be in the safety and comfort of our homes while these heroes and heroines are out there risking their lives for us working endless shifts.
My team and I cracked our heads thinking how we could thank them as hairstylists. The idea of a free haircut might not be the most luxurious gift but it’s definitely something the frontliners would need after the movement control order is lifted.”
According to Phui Yin, all the frontliners need to do is to walk into any of Wenawave Salon’s branches after the movement control order is lifted. This token of appreciation will go on for six months.

“For now, we will do our part and help the frontliners by staying put at home.”
Frontliners can visit their nearest Wenawave branch located at Sungei Wang Plaza, Berjaya Times Square, Sunway Giza and Sunway Velocity for a fresh new look.
No doubt under quarantine conditions, many people will be desperate to cut their own hair and Wenawave’s director has something to say about that.
“Oh dear, please leave that to the professionals unless you don’t mind trying a ‘new hairstyle’,” she jokes.
