LONDON:
Lewis Hamilton is championing genderless fashion with his newest collection for Tommy Hilfiger.

The Formula One racing star has revealed the details of his upcoming Spring 2020 Tommy X Lewis collection, which will be unveiled in full next month, during London Fashion Week.

The duo’s fourth joint collection blends Hamilton’s streetwear style with the US label’s signature preppy aesthetic.

Spanning apparel, footwear and accessories, it is based on a colour palette of neutrals, blues and greens, and has been designed to be styled, according to the brand, “in a way that works for everyone.”

Images posted to the Tommy Hilfiger Instagram account show Hamilton modelling some of the new looks alongside the model Zoe Thaets, with the pair sporting bomber jackets, hoodies, t-shirts, sweatpants and accessories in matching shades of neutral pink.

Hamilton also took to the social media platform to share further images with his 14.1 million followers via Instagram Stories.

The series also places an emphasis on sustainability, featuring organic cotton T-shirts and tracksuits made from 100% Sorona polyester yarn.

Hamilton has been working with Tommy Hilfiger since 2018, when he was snapped up to take on the role of global ambassador for the brand.

He went on to launch his first co-created capsule for the label in Fall 2018.

The new Tommy X Lewis collection will go on show at the Tate Modern in London, on February 16.
