Looking at Gus, it’s pretty hard to figure out exactly what he is – a rabbit, an extremely tiny and harmless lion or a “cute-as-a-button” teddy bear.
To Vivien Lim, Gus is all three and more. Technically known as a Lionhead Teddy Bear Rabbit, Gus quickly earned a reputation for being an intelligent escape artist, expertly executing complicated jail breaks with precision and determination.
Once freeing himself from his cage, he’d go into hiding mode, causing panic throughout the household as everyone pitched in to hunt him down and return him to the safety of his fenced-in home.

When not thinking up ingenious ways of breaking free, Gus used to busy himself with biting everything and anything in his path. At his mercy was the family’s furniture, wires and cables as well as anything made of plastic and paper.
But his misadventures came to an abrupt end when at the tender age of three years old, Gus crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge after being diagnosed with E Cuniculi, a common disease among house bunnies.
Gus is dearly missed by Vivien, who will forever remember him as her fluffy, furry baby and the adorable bundle of mischief with a cute Teddy Bear face.
