By Hollywood standards, Rufus would be best cast as the dark and brooding hero every girl swoons over, trying to get into his intriguing and mysterious mind.
And that would pretty much sum up how Vivien Lim sees Rufus – as the dark and mysterious hero of her heart.
Rather anti-social by nature, Rufus prefers to spend his day detached from the rest of the household, ruminating over the meaning of life and other such philosophical matters in his own quiet corner.

An eight-year-old Netherlands Dwarf, Vivien says Rufus is a special breed of rabbit in that he will remain short and small his entire life.
His fur is short and soft, and his round face, large eyes, and short upright ears make him absolutely adorable all year round.
He belongs to a very smart species of bunnies, who is capable of all manner of mischief and mayhem if left to his own devices. Some like him however, are more “intellectual” in nature than others.
Besides his wish to keep people, animals and particularly fellow bunnies at bay, Rufus is clearly something of a ladies’ man – his beautiful nose with its distinctive heart shape – is a dead giveaway. What a tease!
But for now, he shall be left alone to brood over the devastating effects of climate change, the implications of Brexit, the money market and how to keep girl bunnies forever hooked on his good looks.
