Last month, Pitbull, Natti Natasha and Daddy Yankee shared group photos on their social media – hinting at a collaborative song in the works.
On Monday, they presented the music video of their latest single “No Lo Trates” (which translates to “Don’t Try It”). “The hottest music video with the hottest [artists] is already out,” Natti announced on Instagram.
Directed by Andrew Sandler, the visual shows the three Latin pop music artists partying in a vintage-inspired club, amidst a crowd of dancers. Pitbull and Daddy Yankee take turns wooing Natti Natasha, who rebuffs them.
In “No Lo Trates,” Pitbull, Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha revisits El General’s 1994 hit “Rica y Apretadita” – which featured American singer Anayka.
The song will appear on Pitbull’s forthcoming album “Libertad 547,” which will follow his 2017 “Climate Change.”
In an interview on TV show “Good Morning America,” the rapper explained that the new album title refers to the 547 Cuban immigrants who fled to the US during the 1980 Mariel boatlift crisis – including his father.
Pitbull’s “Libertad 547” is due for release this summer.
