Public service announcement time: Ben & Jerry’s is bringing back their Free Cone Day April 9.

Available at all Scoop Shops around the world, fans will be able to get a free cone in the brand’s annual giveaway.

Every year, it’s estimated that one million ice cream cones are distributed around the world.

Ben and Jerry’s began giving away free cones in 1979 as a thank you gesture to their fans in their first year of business.

Last spring Haagen-Dazs also handed out free cones at their ice cream shops across the US. No word yet on a 2019 edition.
