
Although other posts about Scotland are of an informative nature, this particular one is to honour not only the author’s grandfather’s unfulfilled desire to visit Scotland, but the imagery that likely led him to the conclusion that the place was “green and beautiful” as seen looking down from his seat in an airplane flying over Scotland from Germany after World War II.
71 years later, Robert Schrader (also his grandfather’s name) has finally set foot upon the land of Scots — and hopes these pictures inspire you to do the same.
