The museum contains dolls-house-sized models of Dickensian London, early 20th Century America, mystical fantasy scenes and Edo-period Japan, all in superb detail.

If you ever find yourself in Taipei City, do pay a visit to the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan.

It is the first museum to collect miniatures in Asia and was founded on March 28, 1997 by Lin Wen-ren and his wife.

This fascinating museum is hidden away in the basement of a modern office building and contains a treasure trove of doll-house-sized models of Dickensian London, early 20th Century America, mystical fantasy scenes, Edo-period Japan and much more, all in superb detail.
