Following up the group’s 2014 Mercury Prize-nominated self-titled debut, “For Ever” will be out on September 14 and includes two previously-released tracks, “Happy Man” and “House in LA.” Those two tracks were released in May along with the first news of the upcoming sophomore LP.
The newly-released songs from the album are titled “Cherry” and “Heavy, California,” and both are now available on digital music platforms.
The full track listing is as follows: “Smile”, “Heavy, California”, “Beat 54 (All Good Now)”, “Cherry”, “Happy Man”, “Casio”, “Mama Oh No”, “House In LA”, “Give Over”, “Cosurmyne”, “Home”, “(More and More) It Ain’t Easy”, and “Pray”.
The funk collective led by Tom McFarland and Josh Lloyd-Watson likewise released a cinematic trailer for the new album that is heavy on ambience but reveals little.
Jungle’s newly announced international tour in support of the LP kicks off on September 23 in Las Vegas, with dates throughout North America scheduled through October 14. Mainland European and UK shows are scheduled in November and February ahead of another round of North American dates in March.
