According to MacRumors, a website that aggregates Mac and Apple related news, rumours, and reports, The LEGO Batman Movie features the voice of Apple’s personal assistant Siri, who plays the cape crusader’s personal computer.
In the movie, Batman’s personal computer attends to his every need and virtually brings some sense of organisation to his otherwise chaotic life.
In the movie trailer, when Batman’s character Bruce Wayne, played by Will Arnett, says, “Hey, ‘puter” (or “Hey Computer”), Siri promptly answers, “Hello, sir. I’ve heated up your lobster thermidor in the microwave. I’m one step ahead of you, Alfred.”
Alfred is Lego Batman’s butler and confidant in the movie, played by Ralph Fiennes.
iPhone users too can now get a kick out of employing the services of the ever-helpful Siri when they, like Batman before them, say, “Hey, ‘puter”.
Just hold up your iPhone to your lips and say, “Hey, ‘puter” and Siri replies: “How may I help you, Lego Batman?”
Other equally funny responses from Siri include:
“Welcome home, sir. FYI, Robin is trying on costumes in the Batcave again. He’s doing some pirouettes in Batryshnikov.”
“You have a message from the Condiment King. It says ‘Pbbbffftttt!’
“I am at your service, Lego Batman sir.”
“Welcome home, sir. I have your rom coms queued up, sorted by decade.”
According to MacRumors, Apple regularly updates Siri, who has in the past also given rib-tickling responses to upcoming events. This is however the first serious movie tie-in, the website said.
In August last year, Siri gave humorous responses about Pokemon Go and in September that same year, answered questions about the iPhone 7’s much anticipated debut.
For now, Siri will keep her ears open to commands from Lego Batman and thrill you no end with her amusing responses.
