The singer, who has made a name for herself on the international stage after setting up base in the United States, will join the Clockenflap Hong Kong Music & Arts Festival 2016.

Set to take place from Nov 25 to 27, Clockenflap is said to be Hong Kong’s biggest music and arts festival.

Not just music, the festival at Hong Kong’s Central Harbour front will also feature a line-up of theatre, cabaret, comedy, acrobatics and offbeat live music performances, according to a press release by the Hong Kong Tourism Board.

After exploring the R&B genre for her latest album “Chapters”, which was released in May this year, Yuna will make her Hong Kong debut with “the perfect blend of dream-pop and R&B music”.

Her song “Crush”, a duet with Usher, went on to become a much-loved hit with her fans.

Born in Alor Star, the local lass is set to turn 30 on Nov 14.

Other artistes joining Clockenflap this year are United Kingdom’s female rapper M.I.A. as well as London Grammar and The Chemical Brothers.

Clockenflap, which is a major highlight of Hong Kong’s annual cultural calendar, aims at cultivating and celebrating creativity, boasting a cultural mix of local and worldwife talent in a bid to inspire individuals through a journey of music and arts.
