As unbelievable as it sounds, an instant herbal coffee blend has hit the market making those very claims, a news report in UK’s The Sun said.

Called unsurprisingly, Stiff Bull Herbal Coffee, and marketed as “The Relationship Saver”, this product claims to “greatly improve sexual health, libido and overall wellness” thanks to its unique blend of tongkat ali, maca root and guarana that it says has been used for centuries by Asians and South Americans.
More that just one night of raunchy sex, the coffee boasts that effects “can last up to two or three days.”
But before deciding to take the “bull” by the horns, so to speak, the three million or so Malaysian men who suffer from erectile dysfunction should ask: “Too good to be true?”
Sorry to burst your bubble of happiness guys, but health experts have warned that the coffee contains undeclared ingredients that when mixed with some drugs, can cause heart disease or other serious health problems.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has warned men off this product as it contains desmethyl carbodenafil, a potentially dangerous drug that is not even declared on the product’s packaging.
This substance is structurally similar to sildenafil, an active ingredient in Viagra, an approved drug to help reverse the effects of erectile dysfunction (ED).
“This undeclared ingredient may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerine and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.
“Men with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates,” the FDA said in a statement they issued.
So rather than drink a potentially life threatening cup of coffee, why not correct some unhealthy lifestyle practises as advised by leading clinic andrologist, Dr Mohd Ismail Mohd Tambi, who spoke to news portal Astro Awani recently about ED.
Besides keeping obesity in check, sufferers should also find ways to better cope with stress, the doctor said, citing that even men in their late 20s these days were afflicted with the sexual condition.
