PETALING JAYA: Trading in shares of Genting Malaysia Bhd and Genting Bhd has been suspended from 9am to 5pm today pending a material announcement.
In separate stock exchange filings, the companies said Bursa Securities had approved their requests for the suspension of trading in the shares.
Trading in the structured warrants of the two companies will also be suspended.
The companies did not disclose details of the pending announcement.
Genting’s shares last traded at RM2.86 on Friday, while Genting Malaysia ended the week at RM2.14.
