
The win marks Hakim’s first victory of the season and his second podium finish of the weekend, after finishing second in the first race yesterday.
Starting from seventh on the grid, the 17-year-old showcased his racecraft by steadily overtaking his rivals and delivering a strong performance in the final two laps to cross the finish line first with a time of 26 minutes 52.773 seconds.
Spain’s Brian Uriarte finished just 0.188 seconds behind in second place, while fellow Spaniard David Gonzalez came in third with a time of 26 minutes 52.968 seconds.
“Yes, finally we got P1. It was a fantastic but tough race. The tyres dropped off a lot, but I managed it,” Hakim said after the race.

With this result, the Terengganu-born rider strengthens his lead in the championship standings with 125 points, giving him a 30-point advantage over Uriarte in second place.
The next round of the MotoGP Rookies Cup will be held in Mugello, Italy, on June 21 and 22.
