KUALA LUMPUR:
Harimau Malaya head coach Peter Cklamovski has confirmed that his assistant, Mark Milligan, is no longer part of the national team.

Cklamovski shared this in a post on the official Harimau Malaya social media page, where he also acknowledged and thanked the Australian-born coach for his contributions to the national team.

“Although his tenure was brief, he helped us take our first step as a team in an important time preparing for our first match against Nepal.

“We understand and support his decision to pursue an opportunity abroad, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours,” Cklamovski said.

In a separate post, Milligan said he had learnt much from his opportunity to be part of such a professional set-up.

“Learnings and standards of an elite level that I can only hope and aspire to reach in my own journey moving forward.

“I wish the Malaysian players, staff, and fans the best of luck in the pursuit of Asian Cup qualifiers in the short-term and to continue to build growth and strong foundations to keep Malaysian football moving forward,” he said.
