HeiTech Padu said the contract is for studying, proposing, designing, developing, supplying, delivering, installing, testing, integrating, migrating and synchronising data, commissioning and implementing change management and training for the NIISe project.

“The contract is for a period of 60 months commencing from Oct 18, 2024, to Oct 17, 2029,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Friday.

The company said it has to submit to the government a performance bond amounting to RM892.19 million not exceeding 30 days from the award’s date of acknowledgement of receipt.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024, and onwards until the completion of the contract,” it said.

Meanwhile, in a separate filing, HeiTech Padu said the trading of its shares will resume with effect from 9am on Monday, Oct 21.
