Enrique completes Malaysia’s clean sweep in diving

The 18-year-old, making his SEA Games debut, amassed 442.95 points for a one-two finish with compatriot Bertrand Rhodict Lises.

After taking home all eight golds at stake in the 2021 SEA Games diving competition in Hanoi, Vietnam, 18-year-old debutant Enrique Maccartney Harold ensured Malaysia’s domination as he wrapped up a clean sweep of all the diving events at the current Games here today.

In the men’s 10m platform event held at the Morodok Techo Aquatics Centre here, Enrique was in a class of his own as he amassed 442.95 points after six rounds to deliver Malaysia’s fourth gold in diving.

Even sweeter, Malaysia enjoyed a one-two podium finish as another national diver, Bertrand Rhodict Lises, won silver with 384.00 points. The bronze went to Singapore’s Max Lee, who scored 362.80 points.
