
This was a 194.1% increase over the RM26 million in the previous corresponding period.
In a statement issued to the media today, Carlsberg said undisrupted operations yields and enhanced sales also helped the group return a 63.7% increase in revenue to RM571.6 million.
The group’s earnings per share for this quarter was 24.98 sen versus 8.50 sen in Q3 2021.
For the first nine-month period of the financial year, Carlsberg returned a 98.3% growth in net profit to RM256.9 million, while revenue rose by 46.3% to RM1.8 billion compared with the same period last year.
The company announced a third interim dividend of 19 sen per share, adding up to 63 sen per share for the whole year’s dividend.
Group managing director Stefano Clini said the business has recovered in both Malaysia and Singapore after the pandemic restrictions.
He added that they will continue to stay disciplined in cost optimisation initiatives to deliver efficiencies.
