
The company known as Telkom Indonesia is working with an adviser and gauging interest from potential buyers of AdMedika, full name PT Administrasi Medika, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing a private matter.
“Deliberations are ongoing and may not lead to a transaction,” they said.
Telkom Indonesia didn’t respond to requests for comment.
A unit of Telkom Indonesia agreed to buy a 75% stake in AdMedika for about Rp128 billion (US$7.9 million) in 2010.
Founded in 2002, AdMedika provides services such as health claims management and works with more than 7,800 healthcare facilities in Indonesia and other countries, including Malaysia, Singapore, India, and China, according to its website.
