
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the information technology service management company said Hasrul, 45, has over 20 years of working experience in the area of business management and possesses a broad range of business acumen.
Hasrul will take over from Salmi Nadia Hilmey, 42, who has stepped down to explore other opportunities and interests.
Salmi is the daughter of the company’s executive deputy chairman, Hilmey Taib.
In a separate announcement, it was disclosed that Salmi has signed a settlement agreement for mutual separation of service dated Dec 23, 2024.
Under this agreement, she has voluntarily resigned from all positions within the HeiTech group of companies, and the company has accepted her resignation.
The effective date of her resignation shall be Dec 31, 2024.
“The company would like to record its sincere appreciation to Salmi for her years of contribution and service to HeiTech and its group of companies,” the group said.
At the close of trading, Heitech’s share price was down by 1 sen or 0.33% at RM3.05, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM340 million.
