
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the WOAs were issued between June and August 2024 for six accommodation workboats and two anchor-handling tug and supply vessels for Petronas Carigali’s offshore activities.
The scope of work involved is “as per the provisions under the panel contractor contract for offshore support vessel services for petroleum arrangement contractors, dated April 9, executed between Petronas Carigali and KOSB,” the group said.
The filing said the eight WOAs have a duration of between 91 and 153 days from the commencement date on the on-hire certificates.
The work is to be carried out in the second half of 2024.
“The WOAs are expected to contribute positively to KIB group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31 (FY2024),” it added.
At the close of trading, Keyfield International’s share price was down by three sen or 1.29% at RM2.30, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM1.85 billion.
