“The contract involves constructing a 57-storey building with 1,126 residential units and an eight-level podium parking structure, in Mukim Batu, Kuala Lumpur.

“Construction is slated to begin on Sept 17, 2024, with a completion timeline of 38 months,” it said.

In a statement, Kerjaya’s CEO and executive director, Tee Eng Tiong said the latest contract win from Mega Legacy enables Kerjaya to meet its RM1.5 billion contract win target in 2024.

“We are pleased to receive this contract from Mega Legacy, which elevates our cumulative year-to-date contract value to RM1.5 billion and strengthens Kerjaya’s total outstanding order book to approximately RM4.7 billion.

“This award is expected to impact the group positively over the next three years,” he said.

Tee added that the project significantly enhances Kerjaya’s ongoing collaboration with UEM Sunrise, as the group is working on two other residential developments.

As at 3pm, Kerjaya Prospek’s shares were unchanged at RM1.81, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM2.29 billion.
