Bursa suspends short selling of Salutica’s shares

The electronic component manufacturing company’s shares drop more than 15% or 5 sen from its reference price.

PETALING JAYA:
The intraday short selling (IDSS) of Salutica Bhd’s shares has been suspended for the rest of the day after its last done price dropped more than 15% or 5 sen from its reference price.

Bursa Malaysia announced on its website that the IDSS of the electronic component manufacturing company’s shares will only be reactivated at 8.30am on the following trading day (Tuesday, July 9, 2024).

At 3.52pm, Salutica’s shares which opened at 68 sen per unit slipped 15.44% or 10.5 sen with 24.31 million shares changing hands.
