PETALING JAYA: Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd has issued an unusual market activity (UMA) query to Eversendai Corporation Bhd due to the sharp rise in the company’s share price recently.
At 12.30pm today, the construction company’s share price climbed to 72.5 sen, with 431,093 shares traded, after opening at 62 sen.
The price was hovering between 61 sen and 78.5 sen.
“Investors are advised to take note of the company’s reply to the above UMA query which will be posted on Bursa’s website under the company announcements (section) when making their investment decision,” said the exchange in a filing today.
