For good measure, the association has even chosen the same venue – the Ipoh Convention Centre (ICC) – for the March 9-10 event.
Perak Matta grossed sales of RM23 million at the 2023 edition of the exhibition, a feat it hopes to repeat this year.
Perak Matta chairman Wendy Shin said the exhibition, its 32nd, will feature 122 booths offering various domestic and international travel packages.
“We are also optimistic about reaching our target of 20,000 visitors over the two-day exhibition,” she told the media at the Perak Matta office here today.
Shin said visitors who spend a minimum of RM300 are eligible to participate in a lucky draw for prizes such as travel vouchers, flight tickets and hotel stays.
She said Perak Matta will also collaborate with the state government and Tourism Perak in the Visit Perak Year 2024 campaign to ensure its success.
“We are confident that this exhibition will be able to encourage more domestic and international tourists to pick Perak as their travel destination,” she added.
