PETALING JAYA: Property developer UEM Sunrise Bhd has purchased two lots of land in Perth, Australia on which it plans to develop two residential apartment blocks.
The land, located in the prime residential area of The Oval in Subiaco East, was acquired from DevelopmentWA for A$22.185 million (RM70.302 million).
The 4,930 sq m site is located just 2km from the central business district of Perth.
In a statement issued today, UEM Sunrise said it planned to develop two apartment blocks with 430 mixed-use residential units.
Up to 12% of the apartments will be affordable housing. Construction work is set to begin in 2026.
