
Pertama Digital invests in and nurtures fintech and government tech companies that build impactful, inclusive solutions for Malaysians while Kridentia Tech and its group of companies are principally involved in providing cutting-edge biometrics security systems, servicing information technology hardware and software.
In a Bursa Malaysia filing, Pertama Digital said the proposed collaboration is set to continue for a period of 12 months.
Pertama Digital group CEO Saify Akhtar said their individual strengths in the digital space will enhance the government’s capabilities in introducing world-class digital products such as digital IDs with industry-approved levels of security against threats from potential scammers.
“Information is valuable and we believe our platform such as MyPay and the proposed Malaysian Digital ID can be further enhanced and improved to provide peace of mind to end-users,” he said.
Meanwhile, KTSB CEO Abdul Rashid Ghani said the current agencies they are working with include the police, national registration department and EPF.
