It will be the only international connectivity out of Kertajati, bringing the greater Bandung and Cirebon metropolitan areas, as well as parts of West Java and Central Java provinces closer to Kuala Lumpur. The route will boost both countries’ economic and tourism growth, AirAsia said in a statement today.

“The two weekly flights will land and depart from Kertajati International Airport located in Majalengka Regency in West Java province, which is the second largest airport in Indonesia,” it said.
