The police report was lodged after fashion designer, Jovian Mandagie said that his appointment as the group’s executive vice-chairman was false. He claimed the announcement had tarnished his corporate, business and personal reputation.
In her report, Fong said the current board of directors had proceeded with the appointment of Jovian Mandagie (executive vice-chairman) and Sandraruben Neelamagham (independent and non-executive director), without consent.

“The announcement of such appointments without (prior) agreement has led to a false and misleading representation of the group to our shareholders. It reflects the incompetency and lack of transparency of the personnel responsible,” Fong said in a statement today.
In her report, she claimed that the directors were only given documents citing the qualifications of the two new candidates, giving the impression of consent for their appointments.
According to Fong, the board was given a 10-minute time frame to deliberate on the appointments. However, she said she did not give her consent.
Fong’s also claimed that no resolution was approved for the appointment of the public relations agency that disseminated the press releases pertaining to the appointments.
