
SINGAPORE: Singapore will announce advance estimates of gross domestic product (GDP) for the fourth quarter and all of 2018 at 8am (0000 GMT) on Jan 2, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) said on Wednesday.
In the third quarter, Singapore’s economy grew 2.2% from a year earlier. On a quarterly and seasonally adjusted annualised basis, the economy grew 3.0% in July-September.
In November, the MTI revised its forecast for GDP growth for this year to 3.0 to 3.5%, from 2.5 to 3.5% previously.
