Indonesia’s Pertamina backs $100 billion spend to boost oil output

SINGAPORE: Indonesia’s state-owned Pertamina needs US$100 billion (RM413 billion) over the next 12 years to boost oil output growth, a senior executive said on Tuesday.

The spending was needed to meet Indonesia’s oil demand, Ernie D Ginting, vice-president of Pertamina’s corporate business strategic planning, said during the Asia Pacific Petroleum Conference (Appec) in Singapore.
