KUALA LUMPUR: IJM Corp Bhd’s wholly-owned unit, IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, has bagged a RM1.12 billion contract for the underground package of the Light Rail Transit Line 3 (LRT 3) from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, IJM Corp said the project involved the design, construction and completion of LRT 3’s underground tunnel, stations, ancillary buildings and other associated works.

The project would take 31 months to complete and was expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings from the 2019-2021 financial years, it said.
